My Story
From 2000 to 2006, I worked with an HVAC installation contractor in Beijing, producing execution drawings for ventilation and air-conditioning systems and coordinating installation constraints with site teams.
From 2006 to 2013, I worked on the real-estate developer side in technical coordination for HVAC and plumbing systems on new construction projects. From 2013 to 2020, I moved into technical project management, coordinating architecture, structure, and building mechanical disciplines.
My family and I moved to Québec in 2022. I later completed a DEP – Dessin de bâtiment at Verdun Adult and Career Centre (VACC), in the Residential & Commercial Drafting program, with training in AutoCAD and Revit.
In 2026, I gained full-time Québec professional drafting experience at Groupe Laforest, preparing and revising architectural millwork shop drawings in AutoCAD for commercial projects. This experience strengthened my understanding of Québec drawing standards, review workflows, fabrication requirements, and installation coordination.
I am now focusing my job search on HVAC / building mechanical drafting, while keeping architectural millwork drafting as a complementary area of experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, travel, and hiking, especially landscapes, architecture, and places with a strong sense of history.
